I found out last Wednesday (20th April) that we had been nominated in the ‘Heart of the Community Award’ in the Teeside heat. I was asked to keep quiet until today so that all of the candidates had been made aware. If you know me, you know this is not easy for me but I managed it. Only telling Vicky (of course I had to tell someone).

To say this is huge is an understatement. We have only been running as a CIC since February 2022 and are still in very early development of the business and the Facebook group (which started all this off) has been going less than a year. We must be doing something right.

We will be attending an awards dinner on 23rd June at Middlesbrough College and will let you know the outcome.
