Supporting women going through all stages
of perimenopause and onwards.

We must mark this week with something special and as they say up North ‘shy bairns get nowt’!  So, we contacted a number of experts and were both amazed and delighted that people actually wanted to be involved.

Over 12 hours on 18 October on our private Facebook group we discussed everything from skin changes in midlife with Dr Kasia Brennan, peri-style with the award winning Styled by Susie and the pelvic floor with continence specialist nurse and author of the Pelvic Floor Bible, Jane Simpson.  With the focus on bone health, we looked at nutrition and exercise for bone health.   Stress, movement, even the importance of getting the right bra and how your local Healthwatch can help all part of the programme.

It was amazing not only to learn so much ourselves but also to be able to share all of this, for free with the women in our group.  And that is what it’s about for Gaynor and I, getting the word out there, supporting one and another.
